The Birth The birth of the party was impelled by the all round neglected state of affairs in nearly all walks of life in the country. Though financially the nation appears strong but in case the Foreign Investors demand immediate clearance and God forbid external borrowings need to be paid up all of a sudden then position is indeed not all that rosy as it seems. The Polity of the country is currently under great strain; clear-cut policies in National interest are lacking. The political parties without exception have failed to rise above petty personal interests. Issues of National concern - nay of survival itself- have been relegated to far away background and there appears to be no urgency whatsoever to arrive at any meaningful solution. Kashmir remains a problem even after sixty years, unemployment is wide spread, corruption has ceased to attract reprobation, poverty remains as deep as before and there are disputes and disputes on every issue one can think of. It seems no group; no individual or any political party is seriously contemplating about the malaise that has gripped the Nation in all walks of life. There is a great void of honest, sincere, serious minded organizations that can mobilize public opinion and chalk out a viable, effective and deliberated course of action in National interest.
Under such appalling circumstances a compelling need
is felt to bring together a group of dedicated, honest,
selfless people who will provide the right forum and
leadership based on sound honest, dedicated principles
to our Great Nation and our Great People. The Sardar Patel Congress Party comes into existence at 1440 hours on the eleventh of July 2002. At it's Central Office viz. B-31, Lajpat Nagar-1, New Delhi-110024. May
God give us wisdom, strength and courage to fulfill
our desires, ambitions and re-establish India, our Bharatmata
as the centre for human betterment of the Indian People
in particular and the world populace at large. |
